DAWSON CREEKâA Dawson Creek man was violently robbed over the weekend.
On July 30, 2022, just after 2:00 p.m. a man phoned RCMP stating that he had been robbed within the last hour. The victim says he was hit in the head from behind and knocked to the ground. The man said that two or three individuals kicked him while he lay on the ground before running away with his backpack.
The man suffered non-life threatening; but significant injuries to his head and forearm.
Given this occurred on a busy roadway, Dawson Creek RCMP believes there are witnesses to the event or someone that may have captured the incident on dash camera. Witnesses are encouraged to call the Dawson Creek RCMP at (250)784-3700.
