Kodiaks win team’s first ever game over Huskers at home

PRINCE GEORGE — The hometown Prince George Kodiaks are in the win column for the first time in the team’s history.

On Saturday (August 20) evening, the Kodiaks were able to hang on and beat the Valley Huskers 28-20 at Masich Place Stadium.

Winning their first game of the year, and ever, the Kodiaks improve to 1-3 on the season while the Huskers fell a game to 3-2.

The Kodiaks held a lead late to solidify the win Saturday in a night PG won’t soon forget.
