One arrested after search warrant yields guns, drugs, cash in Houston, B.C.

HOUSTON, B.C. — One man has been arrested in Houston, B.C. following the execution of a search warrant over the weekend.
North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says it all started last month when police in Houston were tipped off regarding possible drug trafficking at a home in the 3200 block of Pearson Road.
“Surveillance of the residence supported evidence consistent with drug trafficking and on August 20, police executed a search warrant at the home,” she says. “The resident of the home, an adult man known to police, was arrested at the time of the search.”
During the search, Saunderson says police seized a loaded shotgun, suspected fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and prescription pills, along with items consistent with drug trafficking.”
