Prince George Ringette Association looking to grow the game with free event
PRINCE GEORGE– With winter right around the corner, winter sports are on the horizon whether it’s Basketball, skiing, hockey, or Ringette.
On Sunday kids aged from 4-17 were at Elkcentre Arena up in the Hart to try out the sport. Jana Campbell who is the coach coordinator for the Prince George Ringette Association had kids learn the rules and basics whether it was passing, skating, or defending. After it was all said and done the kids watched junior coaches play an actual game before trying it out on their own.
There’s no need to worry if you missed this event though because the Prince George Ringette Association will be having another free event similar to this one with the goal of growing the fastest game on ice. If you would like to register for the event on September 11th you can head to cometryringette.ca
