Severe thunderstorms possible in Prince George, Cariboo

PRINCE GEORGE — Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the Cariboo, Prince George and Stuart-Nechako regions.

“Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail,” said the agency.

Environment Canada has forecast anywhere from five to 10 millimetres of rain and winds gusting up to 40 km/hr.
