Cougars fall to Rockets 5-1 Saturday
PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars dropped the final game of their home stand to the visiting Kelowna Rockets Saturday (October 1) 5-1.
After winning the first of the two-game series, the Cougars were outmanned Saturday night as Kelowna came out hot scoring three goals in the opening period.
The three Rocket goals came under 10 minutes a part and put the visitors ahead after the opening 20.
After multiple good scoring chances in the second frame, the Rockets continued to hold PG scoreless.
