Spruce Kings set to take on Vees for the first time since 2022 playoffs
PRINCE GEORGE– Flashback to April 19th. The Prince George Spruce Kings suffered a 3-2 loss to the Penticton Vees completing the sweep of the team. Now on Friday, the team faces off against Penticton for the first time this year. It’s something players on the team last year are hoping to get a bit of redemption.
But for head Coach Alex Evin it’s a new year and he knows this will be a tough test against a Vees team that has yet to lose this season. He believes this will be a good game to see where Prince George is at.
One of the players helping the Kings to a 9-3-1 record is Forward Linden Makow. The Prince George Product has 12 points in 13 games and has 6 points in his last 4 games. He’s looking forward to adding to it after a good couple of practices this week.
