PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Kodiaks have agreed to part ways with head coach and director of football operations Keon Raymond.

The organization says it felt a new direction was required to meet the needs of football in the north.

Raymond was hired in June, 2021 and coached the team to a 1-9 record in the organization’s inaugural season this year.

“Coach Keon certainly helped to establish the foundation of the Kodiaks in our inaugural season of the BC Football Conference,” says President Craig Briere. “The Kodiaks were well supported by fans and the game experience was certainly an entertaining atmosphere. Keon was a great ambassador for the team and will always have a place in Kodiaks history as our first head coach.”
