Serious assault investigated in Quesnel

QUESNEL— Quesnel RCMP responded to the 500 block of Callanan Street in Quesnel this morning (April 12) at approximately 4 a.m. for the complaint of an injured person. Police then located a man suffering severe injuries.

The scene has now been secured. Police ask anyone who may have seen or heard anything around the time of the incident or anyone who has video surveillance in the are to call the Quesnel RCMP at (250)-992-9211.

The investigation is in its early stages, and no further information has been released at this time.
