Cougars rally for 6-5 win in Calgary

CALGARY — The Prince George Cougars snapped a three game losing skid by coming back to defeat the Calgary Hitmen on the road last night, 6-5.
Koehn Ziemmer and Jaxsen Wiebe combined for six points in the win while Tyler Brennan stopped 30 of 35 shots to earn his seventh victory of the season.
The Cougars overcame a two goal deficit in the third period with three straight goals for the win.
Zac Funk, formerly of the Hitmen, scored his first goal for Prince George. The Cougars continue their seven game road trip Friday in Red Deer against the Rebels.
