PRINCE GEORGE — The College of New Caledonia has put a transition plan in place as CEO and President Dr. Dennis Johnson retires at the end of this year.

He says the job has been the fulfillment of a career in post secondary education that started 33 years ago.

He’s held the position since October 2019. The college says it will now begin its search process and anticipates appointing a new president and CEO in early 2024.

“It’s important for me that our work to help students achieve their goals continues as this change happens,” said Dr. Johnson. “This decision comes after significant reflection but my wife and I believe it is the right time for us to focus on family, adventures, and new challenges,” says Johnson.
