City crews still in the process of cleaning up after snowstorm

PRINCE GEORGE — In the aftermath of this week’s snowfall, city crews are still hard at work cleaning up the mess.

In the span of three days, well over 30 centimeters of snow fell in Prince George, meaning city crews were kept busy.

Manager of Roads and Fleet Jordan Wiseman says that crews had to clean several priority routes multiple times as snow kept accumulating past the 7.5 centimetre threshold.

Crews are working on the Blue Zone today, which is College Heights. Residential streets should be cleared by Monday evening or Tuesday morning and after the clean up, crews will work on clearing the windrows from the streets.
