Missing for decades, and the search continues

PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George RCMP investigates several missing person files every year, but few stick out, like one file that has continued to challenge them since the early eighties.

Corporal Leboulch reviews missing person files daily, but none are as challenging as one that’s been investigated since 1980.

Stella is the missing person who was last seen in Prince George in 1980. The only photo police are working from is a family photo of Stella’s family.

“The photo that we have is, unfortunately, not her. The photo is of her grandmother. So it shows the grandmother’s physical features. So the brothers and sisters that are there, perhaps we can maybe formulate some sort of idea of what she may look like according to that photo.”

Prince George RCMP has missing person files that go back to the early 1950s. If you believe you saw or recognized someone listed as a missing person, it can be essential to contact the police so they can update the family of their whereabouts.
