Suspicious death now considered a homicide

PRINCE GEORGE — A death that occurred February 4 that was first considered suspicious, has turned into a homicide investigation.

The woman was found dead in a home on the 500 block of 17 Avenue shortly before 1 a.m.

“Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit has taken the lead on this matter, which is now being investigated as a homicide,” says Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.

She says the BC Coroners Service is conducting their own, parallel investigation into the death.
