PRINCE GEORGE — A snowfall warning has been issued for Prince George, Vanderhoof and Fort St. James.
“A low pressure system will give snowfall accumulations of 10 to 20 cm as it moves off the Pacific just south of Prince Rupert Monday afternoon then sweeps across the interior Monday evening,” says Environment Canada.
“The snow will begin Monday morning then intensify in the afternoon and evening before tapering off late Monday night as the storm tracks well to the southeast. In addition, gusty northeast winds Monday night will give local blowing snow and reduced visibilities.”
Once the snow is over, a three-day cold front moves in with overnight lows Tuesday expected to drop to minus 24.
