Spruce Kings wrap up BCHL Road Show with win over Salmon Arm

BURNS LAKE — The Prince George Spruce Kings defeated the Salmon Arm Silverbacks 4-3 this afternoon before 550 fans at Tom Forsyth Memorial Arena in Burns Lake.

It earned the Kings a weekend split in the BCHL Road Show weekend. This after the Silverbacks beat the Spruce Kings 2-1 in overtime Saturday night.

The Spruce Kings now sit third in the Interior Division, one point ahead of West Kelowna and two ahead of Salmon Arm.

The Kings overcame a 3-1 deficit, scoring three third period goals en route to the victory. Kai Graves scored the game winner at the 8:08 mark of the period.

Ben Lefranc, Linden Makow, and Jack Stockfish scored the other goals for Prince George.
