Northern BC RV & Outdoor Expo gives a chance to plan for spring

PRINCE GEORGE — If you wanted to take a break from all the shoveling this weekend, the Northern BC RV and outdoor expo could take your mind away from that, as nearly 25 different rv’s and campers filled the floor, allowing attendees to have a look at all different styles of RV’s, and the snow didn’t stop anyone from having a first glance at the season ahead.

“A lot of people are getting ready for the season coming, even though we’ve had a lot of fresh snow and that sort of thing. We still had a lot of a lot of people come out for the show. Very busy yesterday (Saturday) in the morning and Friday as well. We’ve seen some good crowds and stuff like that. People coming to take advantage of maybe getting out of shoveling and get inside and get some warm in the warmth and look at some ideas and plan for the summer.” – J.C. Brown, General Manager, SMP RV

With 25 different campers and RV’s, there was something for everyone.

“We tried to make sure we had something for everyone. We had everything from the, you know, something smaller where you want to get people behind an SUV or small truck to the bigger one ton couples, coaches and bunkhouses for people. And we also brought in four truck campers as well so people can look at that. People have boats and stuff and want to pull go camping and have a boat.” – J.C. Brown, General Manager, SMP RV

Organizers say that this year’s event was a great success and that they are looking forward to next year’s event and hope to grow it for next year.
