Charges laid in 2021 police-involved shooting

PRINCE GEORGE — Charges have been laid against the offender who was shot by police during an altercation that occurred on May 31, 2021.

The B.C. Prosecution Service has approved the following charges against 36 year old Fort St. James resident, Thomas Arthur Prince:

• Attempted murder
• Aggravated assault of a police officer
• Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
• Resisting arrest

Thomas Prince was arrested on an arrest warrant for these charges on February 28, 2023, and this matter is now before the courts.
