3-year-old Ethan Reimer named UNBC MVP of the Month
PRINCE GEORGE– Ethan Reimer has gone through a lot as a kid. He was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. A birth defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. As a result, it’s been a tough time for Ethan and his family, who spend a lot of time heading back and forth to the Lower Mainland.
“He’s had a few surgeries since then. He’s had three open heart surgeries, multiple cath procedures, some diagnostic, some to try and correct things. Some of them work, some of them haven’t.” – Justin Reimer, Ethan’s Father
As a result the Timberwolves Student Athlete society named Ethan MVP of the month. And after President Anthony Preston spent some time with the toddler he knew they made the right choice.
