The current seating capacity at Masich Place Stadium is slightly over 1000 people, with room for a few hundred more in standing room. Briere would like to see the seating capacity expanded with temporary bleachers, and potentially down the road a more purpose-built facility.

The club is also looking to improve their practice facilities to allow players more practice time and bring more opportunities to local youth at risk through community programming.

The Kodiaks are hoping the City of Prince George can assist in getting synthetic turf put into a new facility with proper lighting. Briere said the only football field with proper lighting in the city is Masich Place which has created a crunch for time on the turf.

City staff are expected to come back to city council and the PG Kodiaks with a full report on possible options for expanded facilities.
