Two break-ins at The Exploration Place

PRINCE GEORGE — There have been a pair of break ins at The Exploration Place.

CEO Tracy Calogheros says the most recent occurred Thursday night when thieves stole a pepperbox pistol.

She says it’s the second time in as many weeks the museum has been broken into. The first break-in occurred a week earlier at their gift shop.

Calogheros says they’re the first break-ins at the museum since it opened over 30 years ago.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
