Man arrested after ramming RCMP vehicle twice

PRINCE GEORGE — Local Mounties have arrested a violent offender.

RCMP allege the suspect rammed his truck into a police car twice near the 10500 block of Hartman Road last Friday night (April 7) at around 8 p.m.

He then fled on foot but was arrested following an extensive chase involving the North District Emergency Response Team and a Police Dog Services team.

Investigators determined the truck driven by the suspect had been stolen last December. Police officers also found a loaded firearm inside the vehicle.
