Charity concert announced to celebrate Goodsir Nature Park’s 34th anniversary

PRINCE GEORGE — The community is invited to Goodsir Nature Park June 21 to celebrate its 34th anniversary.

As always, the park will be open the entire day with special plans for the evening. At 6 p.m., there will be complementary refreshments and snacks provided to park visitors along with a cake-cutting ceremony, followed by a speech by Jim Good and some guests.

The speeches will be followed up with a one-hour concert by local musician Steve Baker who will be playing a selection of hits from the past four decades.

“Jim’s health has been extremely volatile and unpredictable lately, so this concert fundraiser is an opportunity to raise a few more extra dollars for the park, while highlighting the sensational work Jim has poured into Goodsir Nature Park over the past 34 years,” reads a news release.
