Elusive emus seen south of Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE — Just over two years since the most high-profile emu encounter in Prince George’s history and sightings continue to pour in.

Most recently several witnesses recalled seeing them on the 15 Mile Road south of Prince George. Area residents who declined to go on camera said they didn’t know who the birds belonged to, adding it was not uncommon for the emus to be in the middle of the road on a daily commute.
