Two vehicle MVI on Highway 16 west near Brookside Resort

VANDERHOOF — The highway has reopened. No other information has been released.

Earlier: A two-vehicle crash has closed Highway 16 West in both directions near the Brookside resort.

RCMP say it happened at 8:10 Monday morning near Young Road. It involved a vehicle and a semi trailer and there have been injuries though the extent of them are unknown at this time. Detours are available at Meier Road.
