22-year-old woman killed in Prince George home invasion

PRINCE GEORGE — Mounties say a 22-year-old woman was killed in a home invasion in Prince George on Tuesday July 18.

It happened on the 2100-block of Upland Street and RCMP believe it was a targeted event with no further risk to the general public.

“There is no further information available at this time,” says Cpl. Madonna Saunderson. “More information may be released as it becomes available.”

The Prince George Serious Crime Unit, Forensic Services and the BC Coroners Service are investigating.

If a homicide, it would be the city’s seventh of the year.
