PRINCE GEORGE — The second week of Summerfest took place on Saturday in Veterans Plaza.
Unlike the first Summerfest on July 15th, where the city was blanketed with smoke, Saturday’s event was not hampered by any weather.
Lots of live entertainment was there throughout the day, including musicians Chris Cahill and John Rogers. The Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum was there with the Cottonwood Minirail and you could even have your hand at giant chess. Numerous food vendors were also available making for a great summer’s day.
The next event on Downtown Prince George’s agenda is Fallfest which will take place in October.
