Cougars release forward Fischer O’Brien

PRINCE GEORGE– The Prince George Cougars have made a roster move announcing the release of forward Fischer O’Brien

O’Brien played three seasons with the Cougars with this past season being his best one. Last year he recorded three goals and nine assists for a career-high twelve points in 54 games. Overall O’Brien played 137 games in a Cougars uniform recording 26 points. He was also a very good player defensively finding himself on the Cougars penalty kill unit. His biggest goal came in game six against Tri-City American’s where he potted home a pass from Caden Brown.

The Cougars thanked Fischer with an Instagram post and wished the Prince George product all the best in his hockey career.
