Air quality statement issued for the Prince George Fire Centre

PRINCE GEORGE – Smoky skies are expected in Prince George and surrounding areas over the next 24 to 48 hours.

An air quality advisory has been issued for the Prince George, Williston, Peace River, Fort Nelson, and Stuart Nechako areas of the Prince George Fire Centre. According to BC Wildfire Service, local wind conditions throughout the weekend will affect wildfire smoke in the region.
