Timberwolves fall 3-0 to the Manitoba Bisons last night

WINNIPEG, MB – It wasn’t the best night for the UNBC Timberwolves Women’s Soccer team last night when they played against the Manitoba Bisons. The team created pressure, possed the ball and even hit a crossbar, but didn’t find the back of the net, losing 3-0.

Janelle Chomini put the Bisons on the board in the 38th minute. Shortly after, a cross into the box would deflect off UNBC defender Anna deWynter’s head, bouncing into the wide open net past the helpless Brityn Hinsche.

At the end of the second half, Chomini scored the final Manitoba goal, securing the team’s victory.

The Timberwolves are now set to play the Winnipeg Wesmen today (Sept. 16).
