Cougar named WHL Rookie of the Week

PRINCE GEORGE — A big honour for Terik Parascak.

The 17-year-old Prince George Cougar has been named the WHL Rookie of the Week after scoring five goals and adding two assists for seven points in just three games.

The 5-foot-11, 179-pound forward begins the week leading the WHL in goals (eight) and points (12).

Parascak was originally selected by the Cougars in the fourth round of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft; in eight career WHL regular season contests, he has totalled 12 points (8G-4A).
