PRINCE GEORGE– The Western Hockey League announced Tuesday that Prince George Cougars forward Terik Parascak has been named WHL Rookie of the Week. Parascak, 17, recorded six points (4G-2A) in four games this week as the Cougars went 3-1-0-0 at home. This marks the second consecutive week Parascak has been named WHL Rookie of the Week.

Originally selected by the Cougars in the fourth round (76th overall) of the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft, Parascak has tallied 18 points (12G-6A) in eight games this season, good enough to sit second in the WHL among all point-getters. He leads all rookie skaters in scoring, with a seven-point advantage over the nearest competitor.
