Young’s season best key to Cougars win over Swift Current

PRINCE GEORGE – In a nail-biting showdown at CN Centre Wednesday night , the Prince George Cougars clinched a thrilling 2-1 victory over the Swift Current Broncos.

Goalie Ty Young’s 37 saves proved instrumental in securing the victory,earning him his fifth win this season . Koehn Ziemmer was the first Cat to light up the scoreboard in the second period. Zac Funk scored the game winner in the third period ,his eighth goal of the season.

The Cats who went 4 and 1 on their five game homestand, are in Kelowna Friday night for a showdown with the Rockets.
