Fall Book Sale kicks off Friday

PRINCE GEORGE — Attention book lovers.

Friends of the Prince George Public Library are hosting the Fall Book Sale starting Friday (Oct.13) at the Bob Harkins Branch in downtown Prince George.

Friends members can enjoy exclusive early access to the book sale on Friday, October 13, from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the downtown Bob Harkins Branch. Non-members can easily join at the door for a membership fee of $5 (cash only).

The public sale will follow on Saturday, October 14, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All items will be available for a cash donation, with proceeds supporting special items, programs, and initiatives at the Prince George Public Library (PGPL).

“The Friends of the Prince George Public Library, comprised of dedicated local volunteers, have been advocating for the PGPL’s programs and services since their incorporation in 1990. With over $460,000 raised through initiatives like Book Sales, memberships, and merchandise sales (mugs and bookbags), they continue to play a crucial role in the library’s growth,” reads a release from the PGPL.
