Cougars late game comeback falls short in Kelowna

KELOWNA, B.C. – It wasn’t the best night for the Prince George Cougars on Friday (Oct. 13), when the team fell 5-4 to the Kelowna Rockets at Prospera Place.

Carlin Dezainde and Koehn Ziemmer scored one goal each, with Zac Funk getting to goals for the Cougars. Ty Young stoped 25 Kelowna shots, while the Rockets Jari Kykkanen faced 22 Cougars shots.

The team will now head home when they get ready to face the Kamloops Blazers next weekend at CN Centre.
