Spruce Kings adds new defenceman to the team

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Spruce Kings just announced a new defenceman to the team.

Trent Ballentyne was playing for the Moncton Wildcats of the QMJHL before coming to Prince George. “Trent is a veteran player with good size who skates very well,” said General Manager Mike Hawes. “I’m thrilled that we are able to add a player like Trent to our group.”

Ballentyne, who is originally from London, Ontario, played 43 regular season games last year and recorded six assists with the Wildcats, adding three more points in eleven playoff games.
