Spruce Kings get back in the win column

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Spruce Kings got their revenge last night (Oct. 21) against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, winning 5-3 on home ice.
The team had a new defenceman on the ice, who didn’t take long to make an impact. Trent Ballentyne scored his first goal for Prince George within five minutes into the first period.
Alex Coventry, Skogen Schrott, Scott Cousins and Kilian McGregor-Bennett also scored one goal each for the Spruce Kings.
Ryan Sanborn stopped 36 Silverbacks shots, while Eli Pulver faced 28 Prince George shots.
