Giants put the brakes on Cougars’ home win streak

PRINCE GEORGE- The Prince George Cougars’ five-game win streak ended on home ice Wednesday night after falling 6-1 to the Vancouver Giants.

Ondrej Becher scored the lone goal for Prince George, his 13th of the year, off a setup from Riley Heidt and Koehn Ziemmer.

The Cougars and Giants tangle once again Friday night at the Langley Events Centre at 7. Prince George also visits Kelowna on Saturday.
