Rustad reacts to Polar Sawmill curtailment
PRINCE GEORGE — Conservative Party of BC leader John Rustad has weighed in on Canfor’s decision to curtail production at its Polar Sawmill in Bear Lake for six months.
He says there is a common sense fix to the situation, and that’s to issue the necessary harvesting permits.
This after Canfor told CKPG News earlier this week that that was one of the main reasons for the curtailment due to start in January, affecting 190 workers.
Rustad is blasting the NDP government for refusing to fix the situation and says the NDP may as well be firing these workers himself.
