Eby wants stronger, cleaner, decarbonized economy and Prince George is a part of it
PRINCE GEORGE — A stronger, cleaner, decarbonized economy. That is what Premier David Eby and his government wants as a part of their CleanBC plan, and the Premier says that Prince George is a part of it. The BC United party recently released their own plan for the environment and climate change, but the Premier says that the plan isn’t feasible.
“The commitment from the other party on climate action is nothing more than an abandonment of everything that I understood that he [Kevin Falcon] was most proud of about putting a price on carbon pollution.” – Premier David Eby, Province of B.C.
During the town hall, the Premier mentioned Prince George specifically on several occasions and says that the business community in BC understands their is a massive economic opportunity in reducing carbon, because he’s seen it first hand here in PG.
