Canadian Cancer Society $70,000 match for “Giving Tuesday”

BRITISH COLUMBIA—Those looking to give to people affected by cancer this holiday season, will be able to double their impact thanks to the help of an anonymous donor.

This year marks the 11th annual Giving Tuesday with donations going to resources and programs that support the caregivers of cancer survivors. Caregivers play a vital role in the cancer journey as they face unique challenges and emotional strains by helping to support their patients.

According to the Canadian Cancer Society, an estimated two in five Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
