Prince George Cougars defeat Tri-City Americans 4-1
KENNEWICK, WA — The Prince George Cougars came back in the second period to defeat the Tri-City Americans 4-1 yesterday (Dec. 1) at the Toyota Center.
Zac Funk led the Cougars with a hat-trick and an assist, winning the star of the game. Riley Heidt also scored a goal for Prince George and completed three assists.
Cougars goaltender, Joshua Ravensbergen, secured his ninth win of the season with an impressive 30 saves of 31 shots on net, whilst Americans goalie, Lukas Matecha, made 39 saves of 41 shots on goal.
With this win, the Cougars set their record to 19-7-0-0 for the season at the top of the Western Conference.
