PRINCE GEORGE– It was another great weekend for Joshua Ravensbergen between the pipes as the one who is known as “The Burger” has won WHL Rookie of the Week honours.

Ravensbergen went 3-0-0-0 in his trio of starts and made one relief appearance in the five games the Cougars played this week. The recently turned 17-year-old recorded a 0.84 goals-against average, a .973 save percentage, and his league-leading 5th shutout of the year this past week.

With those numbers, the rookie netminder leads the entire CHL in all major goaltending statistics with a meager 1.63 goals-against average, a .944 save percentage, and five shutouts. He’s also won his last nine starts in net for Prince George.
