Troll Mountain set to open December 15
NORTHERN B.C.— After the long wait ski hills across the province are beginning to open their mountains for Winter Sports including Troll Mountain. Located south on the Barkerville Highway the mountain has become a lesser know proving ground for avid skiers.
Stay tuned on their website for special events planned throughout the season including their freestyle and alpine ski club races, the annual Dog Sled Mail Run, Everest Challenge and the hosting of the 2024 BC Winter Games.
Next year, Troll Mountain will be doubling it’s ski trails with the addition of a new T-bar. This year in preparation for the next year the resort has opened their second fully functional lodge with an indoor play place for kids and a direct sight line to the bunny hill.
If you’re just getting into Skiing Troll Mountain has their beginner yellow T-Bar for $15 a day. The standard pass is $65 dollars and if you have a season pass at other a different hill they off 25% off regular pass prices.
