Prince George is the fourth most charitable city in Canada

PRINCE GEORGE— The spirit of giving is year round in Prince George with GoFundMe ranking PG number four in the number of donations per capita. The donations helped support healthcare needs, local businesses and backed numerous community development projects.

Recently, at the Festival of Trees, a donation of one million dollars was made towards the Festival and the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

GoFundMe recorded a record breaking two million dollars in donations across Canada, a 7.3% increase from last year’s donation amount of 1.86 million.
