Pedestrian killed on Hart Highway

PRINCE GEORGE — RCMP has confirmed that the pedestrian struck by a vehicle on the Hart Highway near Kenworth Road Wednesday night has been killed.
Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says the collision occurred at approximately 5:10 p.m. and adds the driver remained on scene following the crash. She says criminality is not suspected in this case and notes it was dark on that stretch of highway when the collision occurred.
The name of the deceased pedestrian will not be released, and the cause of the accident is unknown.
