PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Chateau is home to 110 residents and for many, the holiday season can be an isolating time of year, which makes social connection and activities ever more imperative to keep spirits high.

“Here you can talk to other people and go and go to the card room and play cards or play bingo or and chat with everybody. You know, that’s it’s really important to do that. Just sitting, doing nothing is not good for us.” – Noreen Roper

One way that the Chateau tries build more social connections is by hosting a variety of different events and activities.

“We do things like craft fairs and activities to bring people who don’t live in the community into the community so that we can start building new relationships and really kind of stimulating that social cycle. That’s really important to us, especially as we age.” – Jessica Brown, Community Sales Manager, Prince George Chateau

This Christmas season, be sure to make some time to spend some time with those closest to you.
