Spruce Kings beat Warriors in overtime

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Spruce Kings finished off 2023 in good style after beating the West Kelowna Warriors 4-3 in overtime last night (Dec. 30).

Skogen Schrott, Alexis Cournoyer, Lucas Veilleux and Kazumo Sasaki scored one goal each for Prince George. Charlie Zolin saved 22 shot in the win, while Justin Katz saved 33 shots for the Warriors.

Next, the Spruce Kings will welcome the Penticton Vees next Friday (Jan. 5) inside Kopar Memorial Arena.
