Repeat heartache: Jean Felix walks kilometres seeking clues on missing sister

PRINCE GEORGE – A family has been searching for a missing relative in the downtown area since the holiday season Jean Felix says it’s not the first time she has spent days looking for a missing sibling.

“Unfortunately, my younger brother Kelsey had committed suicide in 2015, and I just buried my last brother a month ago today.”

Family and friends helped Jean Felix Friday as she looked for her sister and any information on her whereabouts. Her biological sister Brittany Schram was reported missing over the holiday season.

Felix has walked several kilometres talking to those who may have seen her. According to Felix, the loss of her mother brought her into the lifestyle of addiction. Brittany was also a client of a local shelter.

“We found out this happened. We jumped in and went to all of our other agencies and service providers in the Prince George area, and we’re working with them to ensure we’re spreading the word.”

Four years ago, Felix undertook the same measures to look for her missing older sister.

Those with information on Brittany’s whereabouts are asked to call the police or Crimestoppers.
