Strong effort from the Spruce Kings wasn’t enough in Saturday night loss

PRINCE GOERGE – The Spruce Kings played their second game of a back-to-back against the Penticton Vees last night (Jan. 6), on home ice. Despite winning 7-4 on Friday (Jan. 5), the team lost 3-1.
All of the scoring on Saturday happened in the first 20 minutes of the game, with Brogan McNeil scoring the only goal for Prince George.
The Spruce Kings will now hit the road for the first time in 2024 to face the Chilliwack Chiefs next Friday (Jan. 12) at 7 p.m.
